Introduction [Biosketch]

  • Dr. Koena Mukherjee is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar. She was awarded her Ph.D. degree in Control & Automation from the Electrical Engineering Dept., Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She received her M.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur. She joined Robotics and ISI Handling Section, IGCAR, Kalpakkam as Research Associate in the year 2016.
  • She has received numerous research projects from National Funding Agencies like DST, MSME, TIH-IIT Guwahati. She has also been granted four patents among which two are Indian Patents. She has more than 30 research publications. She has secured 74th rank in WBBSE exam and holds national scholarship.
  • Her research interests include Autonomous robots (Aerial, Underwater), Biomimetic robots, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, Adaptive Control of Robots and Motion Planning.
