Research Group
- We are currently a small research group comprising four members (including myself), working across diverse areas such as Pain management, Cancer diagnosis, and Sexting prevention. Our work focuses on addressing real-world challenges through engineering solutions. We aim to expand the group by bringing in members with aligned research interests, particularly in societal impact engineering and automation solutions designed for the general public.

PROJECTSIntroduction [Biosketch]
- Shankar.K. completed his schooling in St.Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Madurai in 1994 and under graduation (Instrumentation and Control Engineering) with First Class at A.K.College of Engineering (Madurai Kamaraj University) in the year 1998. He completed his M.Tech. (Biomedical Engineering) at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai in the year 2006 and was awarded with Ph.D. degree in the broad area of Biomedical Engineering (the title of the thesis is “Experimental Studies on Objective Pain Measurement using Ingenuously developed Pain Inducer”) from Anna University, Chennai in 2017.
