Dr. Pravin obtained his B.Tech degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala in 2009. Subsequently, he obtained his M.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with specialization in Industrial Instrumentation & Control Engineering from University of Kerala in 2011. He was awarded the PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in the year 2020. He then served as a post-doctoral researcher with the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore. On 18 August 2022, he joined NIT Silchar as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. His research interests include advanced process control, process modelling & simulation, process optimization, artificial intelligence/machine learning, scheduling & planning, renewable energy systems, fuel cells and batteries. He is an active reviewer of various reputed journals and conferences and has reviewed several journal and conference papers to date.
